IIT Bombay defeated IIT Kanpur for the third time in a row in the football finals; 1-0; winning the gold medal for the 4th time in a row!

Hockey (final)
IIT Bombay lost to IIT Madras – the tie score of 1-1 was broken 2-3 in penalty shootouts

Table Tennis (final)
Men: IIT Bombay lost 2-3 to IIT Madras
Women: IITB won against IIT Madras 2-0

Star Performer of the Day

Advitiya Sharma

Advitiya Sharma of the football team scored the only goal of the final, in the 10th minute of the match. Incidentally, IITB men’s sole gold medal has been bagged by the football team. [The chess team has also bagged a gold]

OVERALL, IITB MEN HAVE FINISHED 2ND IN INTER IIT 2010! CONGRATULATIONS!! 😀 😀
