Logo : ECell ‘Pitch It!’ is an ‘Idea Validation and Mentoring Platform’ for the students of IIT Bombay launched by E-Cell.  This event aims at providing students a chance to pitch their nascent ideas to stalwarts in entrepreneurship.

Incentives

  • The best ‘Pitch It!’ entry will qualify directly for the semi-finals of Eureka! .This will significantly boost their chances of winning the ‘Best IIT Bombay entry’ and also for an all-expense paid trip to E-Bootcamp including a trip to Silicon Valley, organised by BASES, Stanford University, California!
  • If a paid trip to Stanford wasn’t enough, all ‘Pitch It!’ entries will benefit greatly from mentorship and feedback by seasoned, successful professionals- IIT Bombay Alumni entrepreneurs and Angel Investors.

Structure

  • The first step is to submit your idea at www.ecell.in/enbclub/pitchit. There is no limit to the number of ideas you can submit
  • The window for submission of entries will open from 8th Oct – 20th Oct 2011.
  • On 5th November 2011, each entry will be allotted 20 minutes (initial 10 minutes for presenting your idea and remaining time for interaction with the expert panel). Full confidentiality will be maintained during these sessions. These feedback sessions will be strictly closed-room
  • During the week following the validation sessions, ideas with potential will be allotted a mentor who would guide them through a journey of an idea to a start-up.

This is a great opportunity for students to take their ideas further to the execution stage. On the day of E-Summit in January, all mentored ideas will get an opportunity to make a 5 minute presentation to the same expert panel which would be followed by a Q & A round.
