Making Humans out of Technocrats

Once viewed as distractions, humanities courses at IIT Bombay aimed to create well-rounded individuals but were often dismissed as “lukkha” lectures filled with outdated theories. Critics argued that the focus on memorization stifled creativity and real-world application. MEN IN BLACK

IIT Bombay enlisted TRIG, a leading private security firm, to enhance campus safety. With their “Men in Black” on the job, the campus experienced heightened security, fresh energy, and round-the-clock vigilance. The institute also addressed the persistent panther menace and worked to prevent further encroachment. Change arrived—security became smarter!
